Softball Recap: The Noble Academy Griffins vs. Butler Lynx
The Noble Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged the Butler Lynx out 13-12. The high-scoring effort was just what The Noble Academy needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.
The Noble Academy got a big performance out of Rhianna Berrios, who got three hits. Another player making a difference was Kimaya Ivy, who got a hit.
The Noble Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Butler, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
The Noble Academy will head out on the road to face off against Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
