Volleyball Game Preview: Leadership Academy Falcons vs. Trinity Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Leadership Academy Falcons will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Trinity Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Leadership Academy will be strutting in after a win while Trinity will be coming in after a loss.

Leadership Academy is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Glenn. The Falcons blew past the Bobcats 3-0 on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Trinity unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to Southeast Guilford on Tuesday.

While Trinity ultimately came up short, they really made Southeast Guilford work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 26-24, 25-23.

Leadership Academy will have to keep a close watch on Avalynn Johnson and Charlee Phillips, a pair of players who had a big impact on Trinity's prior game. Johnson had 20 assists, while Phillips had nine digs and three assists. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 27 games she's played dating back to last season.
