Soccer Game Preview: Battle Mountain vs. Roaring Fork

The Battle Mountain Huskies will challenge the Roaring Fork Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roaring Fork took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Battle Mountain, who comes in off a win.

Battle Mountain barely beat Sand Creek the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Battle Mountain was the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Sand Creek on Saturday. The contest marked Battle Mountain's most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Roaring Fork was not quite Fruita Monument's equal in the second half on March 14th. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Battle Mountain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matches. Roaring Fork now has a losing record of 0-1-1.
