It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Randolph School Raiders 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 on Friday.

Central is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Randolph School, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-14.

Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
