Basketball Recap: Randleman Extends Winning Streak to Four

Randleman extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Tyshaun Goldston. The Randleman Tigers claimed a resounding 72-31 victory over the Trinity Bulldogs thanks in part to Goldston, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 16 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Pacey Wagner was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 13 points and eight boards. Those 13 points gave him a new career-high.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nazir Staton, who posted eight points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zy'Iveon Holmes, who put up 11 points and five boards.

Randleman's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Trinity, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Randleman has already played their next match, an 80-72 victory against Eastern Randolph on the 28th. As for Trinity, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-41 loss against Wheatmore on the 28th.
