Basketball Recap: Lewistown Comes Up Short

Lewistown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 45-34 to the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-25 back in November of 2024.

Lewistown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-12.

Lewistown has already played their next match (against Bushnell-Prairie City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cuba/Spoon River Valley will face off against Midwest Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
