Baseball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield lost against Flora on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mules fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 3-2. The Mules have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Easton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Flora, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield will challenge Carmi-White County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flora, they will take on Farina South Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
