Basketball Game Preview: Corning-Painted Post Hawks vs. Horseheads Blue Raiders

While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 390th, while the Express are ranked 63rd).

Horseheads has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Binghamton on Saturday.

Horseheads' defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Corning-Painted Post, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Corning-Painted Post was dealt a bruising 66-37 defeat at the hands of Horseheads in their previous meeting back in January. Can Corning-Painted Post avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
