Softball Game Preview: Bronx High School of Science Wolverines vs. Kennedy Knights

The Bronx High School of Science Wolverines will challenge the Kennedy Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Kennedy will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Bronx High School of Science extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Wolverines never let DeWitt Clinton get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. Fans of the Wolverines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Meanwhile, Kennedy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 25-18 margin over Lehman.

Bronx High School of Science's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.

Bronx High School of Science beat Kennedy 9-4 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
