Basketball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

Huron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 69-20 defeat at the hands of the Dexter Dreadnaughts. While losing is never fun, the River Rats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 467th, while the Dreadnaughts are ranked 52nd).

Huron's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Dexter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Huron will take on Pioneer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dexter, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Skyline at 7:00 p.m.
