Volleyball Recap: Pahrump Valley Has No Trouble Against Cristo Rey St. Viator

Pahrump Valley won the last time they faced Cristo Rey St. Viator and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Royals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-10.

Xe'Ane Kamanu paced Pahrump Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Kamanu got some help from Henna Maivava and her 24 assists. Maivava was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Pahrump Valley's victory bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Pahrump Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Desert Pines on the 10th. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they will face off against Boulder City at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
