Football Recap: White County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

White County dropped to 7-2 on Friday, ending the team's eight-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Upperman Bees. The game marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

As for Upperman, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2. Considering they have won seven matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bronzdon Chaffin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 263 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes. Those 263 passing yards gave him a new career-high. A healthy portion of Chaffin's aerial production (92 yards to be exact) went to Elijah Fitts, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. White County will square off against rival Stone Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Upperman is set to challenge their familiar foe Macon County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bees 14.3, the Tigers 14.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
