After a string of three wins, East Grand Forks's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Sacred Heart Eagles, falling 9-3. The match marked the Green Wave's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rylee Hams was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

In other batting news, Jordan Nowacki made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

East Grand Forks' loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Sacred Heart, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.
