Basketball Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

Meridian was the 76-46 winner over Ridgevue when they last played one another back in November of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Meridian Warriors fell 52-41 to the Ridgevue Warhawks on Friday. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ridgevue's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Javonte Boles, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Tiddens, who had 13 points.

Meridian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Ridgevue, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Meridian will take on Capital at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgevue, they will welcome Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Ridgevue surely won't give up without a fight.
