Bristol Central has gone 6-1 against Newington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Nor'easters at 3:45 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Saturday.

Bristol Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Farmington a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. Surprisingly, this marked the Rams' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Newington not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 14, 2024 (when they won 12-0). Everything went their way against Vaughn as they made off with an 11-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Nor'easters.

Newington's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Bristol Central, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Bristol Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Newington when the teams last played back in May of 2023, winning 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
