Manton took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against St. Francis, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rangers had just enough and edged out the Gladiators 2-1 on Friday. For the Rangers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Gladiators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Manton's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for St. Francis, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Manton will take on Kingsley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Francis, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cadillac on the 22nd.
