Baseball Recap: Conotton Valley Falls Short of Strasburg-Franklin in the Playoffs

Conotton Valley and Strasburg-Franklin squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Conotton Valley had to settle for second. They lost 10-2 to the Tigers. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Rockets, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Conotton Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kam Wright, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Conotton Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Strasburg-Franklin, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-14.

As of now, neither Conotton Valley nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
