Baseball Recap: Springlake-Earth Comes Up Short

Springlake-Earth managed to slip by O'Donnell the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Springlake-Earth Wolverines lost 22-2 to the O'Donnell Eagles on Monday. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Springlake-Earth dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for O'Donnell, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Looking ahead, Springlake-Earth will head out on the road to face off against Olton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. O'Donnell will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Holy Cross at 4:30 p.m. on March 28th.
