Teays Valley Christian won the last time they faced Mount Hope Christian Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Teays Valley Christian Lions breezed by the Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors to the tune of 84-44. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Teays Valley Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kahsi Morgan, who posted 27 points. Those 27 points gave Morgan a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eli Pendleton, who had 19 points.

Despite the defeat, Mount Hope Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore MALACHI FLOHR went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points. TAB SWEENEY also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Teays Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-25 victory against Ignite Athletics on the 1st. As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Cross Lanes Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Mount Hope Christian Academy is facing Cross Lanes Christian at the right time seeing as Cross Lanes Christian is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
