Basketball Recap: Indian Rocks Christian Takes a Loss

Indian Rocks Christian had lost three straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it four. They were beaten by the Northside Christian Mustangs 87-43. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

As for Northside Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Northside Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but IAN ALLEN led the charge by going 7-for-9 to rack up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Jacobs, who shot 67% from the field en route to 18 points.

Looking ahead, Indian Rocks Christian is taking a road trip to face off against Admiral Farragut at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northside Christian, they will face off against Myers Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northside Christian will be up against Myers Park's rather soft defense (which has allowed 64.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
