Basketball Game Preview: Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles vs. Fitchburg Red Raiders

Having just played yesterday, the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Fitchburg Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Advanced Math & Science Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They secured a 47-43 W over Abby Kelley Foster. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fitchburg). They blew past St. Paul 64-41 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Red Raiders as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Fitchburg's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.
