Softball Recap: Palatka Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Palatka entered their tilt with Interlachen on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Rams 12-4. Considering the Panthers have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Palatka got a massive performance out of Cali Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Taylor has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Addy Rigdon also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Palatka kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.

Palatka's record is now 8-3. As for Interlachen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Palatka wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-1 win against Peniel Baptist Academy on the 24th. As for Interlachen, they will head out on the road to take on Crescent City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.89 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
