Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jayton walked away with it. They blew past the Irion County Hornets 68-44 on Tuesday. The Jaybirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 games by 21 points or more this season.

Jayton is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points over those games. Irion County's defeat dropped their record down to 26-8.
