Volleyball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Johnson Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on March 7th.

While Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Johnson's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 27-25.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Johnson, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Valley has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Florin on the 2nd. As for Johnson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against West Campus on the 2nd.
