Baseball Recap: Vista Ridge Takes a Loss

If Vista Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 10-4 takedown of Crescent Valley two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves fell 5-1 to the Pueblo West Cyclones on Tuesday.

Jacob Bourland made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Vista Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pueblo West, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

While Vista Ridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
