Volleyball Recap: Riverside Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Capitol Encore Academy on Monday, Riverside Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Royals fell just short of the Ascend Leadership Aviators by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Aviators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

Riverside Christian Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 15-4.

Riverside Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Ascend Leadership, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Riverside Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against New Life Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Ascend Leadership, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Central Carolina Academy on the 2nd.
