Soccer Game Preview: Penncrest vs. Holy Ghost Prep

The Penncrest Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Penncrest fought the good fight in their overtime match against Ridley on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1.

Penncrest's goal came courtesy of Regan Campbell, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Holy Ghost Prep and Franklin Towne finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

Holy Ghost Prep's draw gives them a new season record of 8-6-4. As for Penncrest, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9-1.
