Basketball Recap: Norfork Comes Up Short

Norfork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Salem Greyhounds at home by a 56-42 margin. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 59-37 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Norfork's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Salem, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-7.

Norfork will square off against Viola at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Salem, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bergman at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
