Basketball Recap: Copper Basin Takes a Loss

Copper Basin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-32 loss at the hands of the Robbinsville Black Knights. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the loss, Copper Basin still got an impressive performance from Andrew Crowder, who posted five points.

Copper Basin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Robbinsville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copper Basin will face off against Fannin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Robbinsville, they will square off against Murphy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Robbinsville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
