North's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They skirted past the McFarland Cougars 4-3. That's more bragging rights for the Stars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-21. As for McFarland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15-1 record this season.
