Basketball Game Preview: Hokes Bluff Eagles vs. Haralson County Rebels

The Hokes Bluff Eagles will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Haralson County Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hokes Bluff has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 218 points over their last three matches.

Hokes Bluff is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Collinsville just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 79-63 fall against the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Haralson County had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Ranburne to the tune of 67-34 on Thursday.

Haralson County's win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Hokes Bluff, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.

Hokes Bluff was able to grind out a solid victory over Haralson County in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 48-39. Does Hokes Bluff have another victory up their sleeve, or will Haralson County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
