Basketball Recap: Holly Hill Academy Raiders vs. Clarendon Hall Saints
The Holly Hill Academy Raiders lost against the Clarendon Hall Saints last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Holly Hill Academy was the victim of a rough 45-21 defeat at the hands of the Saints. Holly Hill Academy has not had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Holly Hill Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was LeAnna Broadway, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Strickland, who scored eight points.
Holly Hill Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Clarendon Hall, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
Holly Hill Academy will head out on the road to challenge the Sundevils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarendon Hall will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
