Basketball Recap: North Iowa Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Iowa can now relate to. They were beaten by the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears 71-34 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 41st).

North Iowa's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Bishop Garrigan, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

North Iowa has already played their next match (against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bishop Garrigan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
