Baseball Recap: Aletheia Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Aletheia Christian Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Stingrays by a score of 9-8. The Lions have struggled against the Stingrays recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Tanner Brock was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5. Gabriel Toro was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-5.

Aletheia Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
