Softball Game Preview: Smithfield-Selma Spartans vs. Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs

The Smithfield-Selma Spartans are taking a road trip to take on the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 19 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Smithfield-Selma and three for Southeast Raleigh.

Smithfield-Selma came up short against Hunt on Friday, falling 24-6.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh fell victim to Willow Spring and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 14-0 to the Storm.

Smithfield-Selma's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Southeast Raleigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Smithfield-Selma suffered a grim 57-42 defeat to Southeast Raleigh in their previous meeting last Friday. Can Smithfield-Selma avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
