Cedar Shoals won against Flowery Branch last Tuesday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Cedar Shoals Jaguars strolled past the Walnut Grove Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 49-34. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Warriors two weeks ago, they had to take a 55-40 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Cedar Shoals and bumps their season record up to 9-17. As for Walnut Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

Coming up, Cedar Shoals will square off against East Forsyth at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Forsyth knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Cedar Shoals likes a good challenge. Walnut Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
