Volleyball Recap: Woodford County Takes a Loss

Woodford County was the 2-0 winner over Henry County when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. While the Yellowjackets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 25-21 in the first set.

Woodford County started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 19-25, 25-16, 25-16, 17-15.

Woodford County's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-10. As for Henry County, their record now sits at 18-9.

Looking ahead, Woodford County will venture away from home to face off against East Jessamine at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Henry County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
