Basketball Game Preview: Columbus Christian Crusaders vs. Tabernacle Christian Eagles

The Columbus Christian Crusaders will square off against the Tabernacle Christian Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Tabernacle Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Columbus Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Crothersville, taking the game 58-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Columbus Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katie Bond, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Bond a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Murray, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Tabernacle Christian lost to Colonial Christian on the road by a 67-51 margin on Monday. The Eagles have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Columbus Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tabernacle Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Columbus Christian's way against Tabernacle Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Columbus Christian made off with a 55-32 win.
