The Air Academy Kadets will face off against the Liberty Lancers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Air Academy had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Palmer Ridge put an end to it on Friday. The Kadets were outmatched by the Bears and fell 42-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Kadets in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Liberty played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Vista Ridge, falling 42-7. The Lancers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Air Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Air Academy strolled past Liberty in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 14-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Kadets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
