Basketball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin lost against Mt. Gilead back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Elgin Comets took a hard 66-51 fall against the Mt. Gilead Indians. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Mt. Gilead, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Elgin will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Gilead, they will head out on the road to square off against Lucas at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
