Soccer Recap: Waynesburg Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Waynesburg Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Yough Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Yough this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Waynesburg Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Yough, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Waynesburg Central will head out on the road to square off against Greensburg Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yough, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Serra Catholic at 12:00 p.m.
