Soccer Recap: Lenoir City Comes Up Short

Lenoir City lost against South-Doyle back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokees. That's two games in a row now that Lenoir City have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Lenoir City and nudges their season record down to 4-7-2. As for South-Doyle, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lenoir City will take on Eagleton College & Career Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South-Doyle, they will challenge Sevier County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
