Basketball Recap: Oxbow Takes a Loss

Oxbow and Vergennes squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Oxbow had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vergennes Commodores, falling 49-29. The Olympians just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Oxbow's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Vergennes, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Oxbow nor Vergennes have any future games scheduled.
