Basketball Recap: Gunter Triumphs

Gunter's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Maypearl Panthers, sneaking past 46-43.

The win got Gunter back to even at 1-1. As for Maypearl, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Gunter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-25 loss against Sunnyvale on the 27th. As for Maypearl, they will venture away from home to square off against Grandview at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
