Softball Recap: West Greene Takes a Loss

West Greene lost against Greeneville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buffaloes came up short against the Greene Devils, falling 13-1. The match marked the Buffaloes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Greene saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee Willett, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that Willett has snagged this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Greene and nudges their season record down to 7-10. As for Greeneville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-13 record this season.

West Greene will square off against University School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greeneville, they will challenge Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
