Soccer Game Preview: Warrior Run vs. Milton

The Warrior Run Defenders will venture away from home to square off against the Milton Black Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Warrior Run's offense. They fell just short of Selinsgrove by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Warrior Run have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Milton came up short against Central Columbia on Wednesday, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, Milton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 274th, while Central Columbia are ranked 35th).

Milton's goal came courtesy of Tobin Strous, who's now up to seven this season.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Warrior Run, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1.
