Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perry). In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 65-64 win over the Lakeside Dragons. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons on Tuesday, too.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Lakeside, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Perry will be playing in front of their home fans against Grand Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Pirates will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lakeside, they will head out on the road to square off against Pymatuning Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
