Sarcoxie had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 5-11 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the McAuley Catholic Warriors with a sharp 19-2 win. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for McAuley Catholic, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For McAuley Catholic's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Richards, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
