Basketball Recap: Canarsie Comes Up Short

Canarsie was the 55-43 winner over Grady when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Canarsie Wolfpack took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grady Falcons on Thursday. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canarsie's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Grady, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canarsie will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Frank J. Macchiarola at 4:30 p.m. on January 28th. Grady also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Thomas Jefferson Campus at 4:30 p.m. on February 5th.
