Softball Recap: Mount Vernon Comes Up Short

Mount Vernon blew Lynden Christian out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Lynden Christian got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Lyncs by a score of 6-4. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lyncs earlier this season, when they won 11-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Mount Vernon and nudges their season record down to 15-5. As for Lynden Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Mount Vernon nor Lynden Christian have any future games scheduled.
